Job Summary
Our Process Automation Engineers configure, assemble, test, and install industrial process control systems across many different industries. They provide off and on-site support of process control systems. Duties will include providing routine preventive maintenance and calibration of field instrumentation, corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial control systems. Work also includes PLC and HMI configuration/programming, check- out and start-up on a wide variety of process control systems within our customer’s facilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Involved in technical system architecture and application
- Interface with clients as well as subcontractors to implement solutions in measurement and control of industrial manufacturing processes.
- Calibrations and verifications of field instruments, PLCs, HMI, and SCADA applications
Qualifications and Skills
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automated Manufacturing Systems or related degree.
- Experience in implementation of industrial control systems
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written skills
- Ability to deal with experienced, multidisciplinary, technical specialist
- Knowledgeable of electrical and controls engineering theories and principles
- Ability to program PLC’s , SCADA systems, and database applications
- Require electrical aptitude and knowledge of acceptable practices, techniques, and codes
- Skills in AutoCAD, MS Office suite
- PLC experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix & CompactLogix),
- HMI experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, and Ignition software is a plus.
